My journey began on March 19. I had my surgical consulation with Dr. Nussbaum of Livingston, NJ. I feel like a steamroller because I have done all of my consultation visits in one week. (Cardiology, Pulmonology, Psychology, Venous Doppler, H Pylori bloodwork) This is the laundry list given to me from the doctor's office. The Pulmonologist Dr. Sussman sent me for a sleep study and I have learned that I have severe sleep apnea. I have to go for CPAP training on 4/16/12. He cleared me for surgery but told me to bring my machine with me to the hospital. The cardiologist Dr. Blum wants me to take an additional blood pressure pill at night. (I take Losarten 2x/day, Norvasc 1x/day and now Bystolic 1x/day) I'm not happy with this. I hate pills. The H Pylori test showed I have bacteria in my stomach so I'm going to pick up the meds today that were called into the pharmacy. Ugh! More pills!
My paperwork was submitted on Monday and I just called the insurance company and I was APPROVED!! 
Yep! I freaked out a little because the insurance company gave me the dates of 5/31-6/2. I have stressed that I want my surgery the last week in April. I have a master plan. My Son graduates high school on 6/21. I want to attend his graduation without the fear of pain, walking or not being able to climb up the bleachers. So I hope my request is granted. I figure if I have the surgery now I have 9 weeks to get ready for graduation. 
Now back to the approval. I've seen people post about being approved and I wondered how I would react! Jump up and down. Cry! Scream! Holler! I actually whipered at my desk....I was approved. The girl at the front desk heard me. LOL I told two other ladies in the office and my boyfriend who said, "Approved for what?" Ugh! Anyway I'm excited and anxious at the same time. I want to make sure I have everything I need so I don't screw up!

Everything else in my life sucks right now so I'm glad to have something positive going on!
