I'm not entirely sure this 'applies' to those of us who have had WLS; however, being in the maintenance phase of my journey, it makes sense.  At 19 months out, I look at every calorie as if I'm absorbing 100% of it, because there really isn't any way to tell how much each individual's intestines 'adapt' to the malabsorption--or at what point.

Anyways...food for thought...

CLICK Espresso Protein Drink Snack Attack? Here's an easy way to determine how many snack calories you should eat. Start by calculating how long since you last ate; every hour is worth 100 calories. So, if you ate lunch at noon and it's now 2:00 p.m. you should have no more than 200 calories as a snack to hold you till dinner time. CLICK calories ~ 120 :))
