The easy part is over...

hi! After almost a year of silence I am here and ready to post and update you all of my progress. I was playing with the idea of bariatric surgery for a year or so now and 1/29/2019 I finally had it done. I am so happy I made the choice to go through with it. With only being 23 I am full of optimism that it’s only up from here. I started my journey this past September at 546!!! I couldn’t believe that number. I didn’t want to begin to think about being dead before 25... I started a new shift at work that enabled me to go to all my surgeon appointments with ease. By the end of December I had almost just over 50 lbs! I couldn’t believe how much I lost due to my hard work and dedication. My doctors were so happy with me as was I with myself. We finally scheduled my surgery dated. 1/29. It’s now come and gone and I am healing at home. It’s true when they say they fix you physical but now it’s up to me to work on my mental fixing. I am slipping into old habits of not moving around like I have been and I wanted to start posting on here to talk with people who know my journey and stuggles because as much as friends and family care...they don’t get it (minus the few that have had the surgery and I love them for their support!!) if anyone has stuck around and got to this point, please message me and talk with me! I want to know everything and soak it all in. I have an ambitious goal ahead of me and I plan of smashing it! I want to be 25 and in the best shape of my life and these past 24 years be nothing but a distant memory. I am Phillip, I am 23, and I want to be a bariatric surgery success story!
