Hi Philip! Just thinking about you and hoping you are doing fine. My Surgeon was Dr. Arreola and I thank him everyday for another chance at life! My RNY was done on 7-26-05 and to date I have lost 77 lbs! Remember..it will all be worth it! Have a great Thanksgiving! We all have a lot to be thankful for, and to look forward to. Phil, I wanted to use this time and space to just let you know how very glad I am that you have done this for yourself. It is a step to be proud of for it takes a very brave individual to do something this drastic to improve their lifestyle. You are my hero, Philip, and I love you very much.

Phil is being discharged from the hospital as I type this. Yippee!

I spoke with Phil twice today and he is still doing pretty well - just said he was tired, which considering all is wonderful! Only problem is a low blood pressure, which has since stabilized.

Phil has been up walking around and, though in a lot of pain (we all know about that one) is doing well. YAH!!!!!

I just received word that Phil is in recovery and that the surgery went well. Will post more info as I receive it. On behalf of Phil...thank you all so much for your prayers, thoughts, and support!
