"My first impression? Oh my God she looks just like my boyfriend's ex-wife! Seriously, I knew from the first meeting that Dr. Toder was all business and I wasn't going to pull any wool over her eyes. She is all business and she is there to help you learn how to help yourself. She instilled on me the importance of following the program and to realize that gastric bypass surgery is not a magic pill but rather a tool to help you to lose weight. I was a little hurt when at my six month appt. she told me my weight loss to date was neither exceptional nor terrible, but just run of the mill. I thought 80 lbs lost was great but maybe she was just trying to get me motivated to try even harder. It worked..I joined the gym and have lost 15 more pounds since I saw her two months ago. rnMy life has changed dramatically for the better, since my surgery.
