Almost 2 weeks out

Well, tomorrow will be exactly two weeks since I had my VSG. It has been a long two weeks for me. The surgery went well. No complications and I only stayed in the hospital overnight. The pain was not as bad as I had expected. Now I only have a little soreness and expect that to be gone soon. I lost 14.7 pounds the week before surgery on my semi-liquid diet and lost an additional 11 pounds the first week after surgery.
The hardest thing for me is eating now. I don't get hungry but I know I have to eat. Nothing really tastes good to me. I have not been drinking my protein shakes or taking my vitamins which I know is not good and hope to change that. My only complaint is my lack of energy and I believe that is probably related to me not taking my vitamins or protein. I can't wait to go back to work tuesday and when I start my exercising next week I hope the weight melts away.
