Well where do i start. I never was the " skinny" type but I never really paid any mind  to how it  could affect my health as i got older because I was always very active. I tried quite a few diets... i was a bit sucessful, but I would  gain the weight(and a little extra) back. when i got pregnant with my son,I tought i would gain alot of weight so I prepared myself for what was to come. To my surprise I lost weight!!! I was worried in the begining, but I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy!!! I was 175lbs after I gave birth to my son. I thought that from then on I would be able to lose more weight, and keep the healthy lifestyle I had  during pregnancy... boy was I wrong!!!! I started gaining weight right back. iwent up to about 230(keep in mind I am only 5ft even!) I thought I could stay active, but there are days where my ankles swell so excercising was out of the question. I get really tired just going up a flight of stairs!know I am twenty five and I feel like 40 yr old....correction I know plenty of people that age that are healthier than I am. when I saw the pictures of my son's 3rd birthday party I was shocked!!! I alys try to hide from the camera, but this time I wasn't so lucky.Reality really sunk in.On April 1st I went to a weight specialist. my weight was 214. as of  April 30 my weight is 199. My doctor gave me Adipex. I guess it has been helping, but I know I need something that can help me on the long run. I really hope can get this sugery.
