Andrew Larson

"'Dr. Larsen my first impression was " He is pretty young" but after answering questions and going over what he does in the or. He was very patient and seemed on top of everything.I did some research on him and he has interned in some of the best hospitals in the country.I feel he is ontop of his game.rnWhen I had surgery I was scared He came and saw me in preop and said they were running alittle behind but it would go quickly. He was all smiles and it eased my fears alittle bit. rnIn the recovery room he came in and saw me again. He told me my liver looked healthy and the band went on with no complications. rnBefore I left hospital he came in again and we discussed what to do at home and pain meds. And to schedule my follow up for the 6th of June. He also told me I could swim and moderate excercise. rnHe was not self possesed"

"I was suppose to have a room booked for me but had to sit in recovery till 730-8 pm at night because the hospital couldnot get the other patient out of my booked room. I found this very inconvenient. Also before i was discharged I had a cental line taken out of my neck and was told to lie flat for 10 minutes. I dozed off and on waking i tried to lift bed up which made me stuck in bed. i could not reach call button and my throat being very sore from being intabated while awake i could barely speak "nurse". By the time the nurse did check on me I was on floor crying. My bed did not come with the over head tee bar to lift me up. My arms are to weak to hold me up. So I squarmed and squarmed till I could get out of the bed. This totally sucked. Also you would ask for a blanket and then another nurse would come in and you'd ask again and finally get one."
