 I wasnt planning to buy any new clothes just yet, but then nothing fit. That  and a girls only vacation, a new hairdo, and some other tweeks to my now single slimmer look. I actually had the nerve to try on a bathing suit so I could ditch the HUGE granny suit i endured only for my kids. I actually was able to buy an xl bottom instead of multiple x's and apparently need some kind of push up pads for the top. I saw a friend that i havent seen in at least two weeks today and the first thing they said was WOW.. you are losing alot of weight! I actually feel like getting up and out of the house, chosing to walk early in the morning to beat the texas heat, or swimming. Loving the smaller me already.

I am beyond excited. I have been doing pretty darn good on my preop diet, and i will get off of work at 2:00pm on wednesday so I can make my drive south to San Antonio and drop my dog off at my Moms house. Then have her take me to the hotel. Thankful that my Mom is retired and can be there for me. She is so super supportive and I can't think of a better person to wake up to..

I watched the first episode of Weight of the Nation. Made me cry and made me feel even better about my choice. I will get this weight off and gone forever.

I am starting to get nervous and anxious. But have lost about 5 lbs on my pre surg diet so far with 8 days to go. Have a whole checklist of things to do before that morning. One of them is final measurments and weight. Then a good before picture. 8 and counting down....

I received the best news I've heard in weeks!! Returned home from a weekend away with the kids at my parents place to find my approval letter from my insurance. This is really going to happen!! Mixed emotions.. scared, excited, anxious, so now I cant sleep.. so I decided to get on here. This process has felt like an eternity!! I decided on my birthday last year to finally do something for me and now its about to happen!! I am attaching a crappy pic of my letter with my personal infor blocked out since I dont want any stalkers.. hehe 

I am soooo super hyper excited that I finally have my surgery date!  May 25, 2012!
Gained some weight the last few months, eating out alot with my husband. Especially the things I wont be able to eat for awhile afterwards. And drinking beer.. haha.  But started today to get back on track and only eat off of my "bucket list" once a week. 40 days to go...
