Time .... Where Does It Go?????

I don't post often and I stopped visiting the site, so maybe that's why my weight loss has been so slow....... SOME THINGS WE CAN'T DO ALONE!!!!!
I have lost 45 lbs in 8 months. I know 45 is a good solid number, but I can't tell...... no one can tell. I don't see the weight coming off. Is that crazy or what????? I wonder when will my time come? Was this all done in vain???? I recently joined WW and a spinning class with a few of my co-workers to help me get back into the fight. I feel discouraged, but not broken. Not yet!!!
I am looking for a dietbuddy / healthy life style friend to help me keep my feet on the ground. I stopped smoking ( cold turkey ) in January only to start back up about a month.. SO now I have to go back through the pain and suffering of withdrawal. I hate I started in the first place. Why do we do these things to ourselves????? Please say a prayer for me that I am stronger than the fight.

I still can't believe this......... Ok, I can. I am now 8 day out and still feeling pain. I went for my 1 week check-up today and the doctor stated that the pain in my chest and side is nothing but gas......... It hurts worse than labor pains is what I told him. But other than that all is good. WOW...... God is Good! I have already lost 17lbs and it was easy.
I am having no problem with my post op diet, but MY doctor wanted me on soft food for another 4 weeks....... WHO can do that???? 4 WEEKS....... Did I mention that I will be going to Florida (SUPERBOWL WEEKEND), so tell me what soft food goes with CROWN ROYAL ????? Let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks for listening.

Banded..... Say it Loud and Proud!

Hey Now, I'm home and banded! It's hard to believe........ I DID IT! The first few days were REALLY bad. I was in a lot of pain. I can still feel the gas moving through me. I'm feeling better now, and my first day back to work..... Slow and easy is the game I want to play.
I am off clear liqiuds and ready for some mash potatoes...... LOL. It has not been too bad, I went into surgery starving, but have not really felt too hungry since. I'm so ready for a nice cocktail, but maybe I'm rushing things.....
