Onederland Baby !!!!!!

I hit onederland a couple of weeks ago ..it feels wonderful . My darling hubby bought me some gorgeous Swarvorski jewellry to celebrate my big achievement !I am sitting at 196 at present ..and seem to have hit another stall ...but thats OK ..am used to being a slow loser with many a stall ..lol .
I am loving life and doing so much more now than I could before my revision to RNY 6 and a half months ago .
The move out of the Condo went very smoothly a few weeks ago and we are settling into a wonderful "retired" lifestyle at our country place in Norwood out in the Kawartha's . We seem to have never a dull moment and have already been back to a coffee night in TO ..lol (see my pics ) We have been away in our new trailor and entertained here a lot .I am getting busy with the Peterborough area WLS support group and met the lovely ladies in Belville too .
My hubby saw Dr Klein last week for his consult and was approved for RNY not the VSG as Dr Klein feels the RNY is better suited to eliminate Peter's severe insulin dependent type 2 diabetes . Peter is thrilled that he got approved and has a permanent smile on his face ever since ..lol . He already did the Bariatric class at Humber and has appts with the Dietician , the internist , and social worker all set up for Mid oct . we are hoping for a surgery date sometime in Dec ( poor man may well have a Christmas on optifast )
Tomorrow we are heading out again for a week in the trailor camping at Sandbanks in Picton ..hope the glorious indian Summer holds out a little longer .
I had bad news from UK today ..my elderly and much loved dad is ill in Hospital with bleeding from an enlarged Prostate . My sister is with him for now but as he lives alone I may well decide to fly over in the next couple of weeks to nurse him back to health and generally look after him till he gets back on his feet .He may be having surgery in the next couple of days so obviously this is a big worry for me . Please say a little prayer that he comes through this ok ..Thanks guys !
