He wanted to know, that as a patient, you had educated yourself about the surgery, and was comfortable with the information you had received about the surgery. "The overall experience was just okay. The night nurses where not very responsive. On several occasions I waited at least 1/2 hour for a nurse after using the call button and reporting that I needed assistance getting to the bathroom. I eventually removed the sleeves with velcro from my legs using my toes, manuevering my bed to sit up, gathering the IV equipment which I had to unplug and then making my way to the bathroom. Once I didn't quite make it. I complained to the Patient Advocate before I left. One nurse came in after smoking and I could smell it on her hands. YUCK!! There was one nurse that was OUTSTANDING and one that was okay. "
