WOW!! It's been over 2 years since I've posted anything.

I am 6 years and 9 months out from surgery. A lot has changed since having surgery.. a lot has changed since my last post.

I am no longer active on the boards, although I do post occasionally to the Alabama Board. I also am not active in my local support group. It's not that I do not think they are important, they are.. I just am not as supportive as I once was. My weight has continued to climb. I have gained about 95% of my weight back. My lab values are off and I feel that I have screwed up my health without the benefit of  weight loss. I have an almost constant pain in my muscles which I attrribute to my labs. I do not fault the surgery, nor the surgeon, but it is not a cure all. In spite of what everyone may say or do, it works well for some but not for others.

For the moment, please do not message me for advise regarding maintaining your goal weight. If I knew the answers, I'd follow it myself.. thus I do not know.
