I am new at this but I imagine will get the hang of it as time goes by. I am 65 years old and fixing to undertake the journey of my life. I have been overweight all my life. My mother took me to a doctor when I was 10 years old and he put me on diet pills. I was not severely obese at the time, just "chubby". That was the start of a lifetime of yo yo dieting with weight off more on, etc. After many years of this, 3 kids, stopped smoking, surgeries, and slowed metabolism, my weight has gotten up to a high of 274.. I am only 5ft 2 and prefer short and fluffy other than morbidly obese. I have been working on the carbs etc for almost a year and down to a steady 245 -249. Cant seem to get any lower. As with many of you, I have a few health issues, have already had a total knee replacement, vertebral fusion in my neck, rotator cuff and bicep repair, etc. I am at the age of rebuilding the body. lol.. I am scheduled for VSG March 11, 2015 and am both very excited and nervous. So, hi, here I am.
