Hi All, I spent a few hours with Dana yesterday afternoon. She looks terrific! She had her cath removed and was off the morphine. She had her leak test and her blue sno-cone and all was good! She was sipping her water and doing her ankle push-ups. We went walking the halls, I had a hard time keeping up with her!!!! She was hoping to go home today, but figured it would be late afternoon before she got to leave. You can send her an email card at the hospital http://www.ssmdepaul.com/internet/home/depaul.nsf/CardInfo Angel Jan O:-)

Dana....You may not see this before you leave for the hospital, but I just happened to "stumble" onto your page and saw that you are scheduled for surgery tomorrow. I just wanted to tell you that I will be praying for. I will be praying for an extra measure of peace for you, your husband, and your children. (I'm adopted, too!!) I will be praying that God will guide the hands of the surgeons. I will pray that your recovery is quick and without problems. God is good, all the time, and I can tell by your posts that He is where your heart is. Blessing, blessings, blessings to you, sweetie. I will look forward to reading about the wonderful things that HE will continue to do in and through your life after this. Joy in Christ, Debbie V. (Abilene, Texas)

Thank you ALL so much for your warm wishes, and most of all your prayers! I'm very calm tonight, so I'm hoping for a good night's sleep. We'll be leaving at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow to head to the hospital. The Lord willing, I'll see you all on the losing side! God bless!
