Well I did my 2nd sleep study on Sunday night. I didn't think it could be any worse than the 1st study but I was wrong. It's really weird sleeping with the cpap. Now I have to wait 3 weeks for the results. Then all I have to do is go back to my primary and pre-op testing in 2 weeks then my surgery will be the following week. 
Some people get more and more excited as their date gets closer, not me. I'm getting more and more nervous. My sister is 1 week post-op now and is barely able to eat or drink anything. The Dr thinks it could be a stuck pill or a reaction to the meds she had in the hospital. If it doesn't get better in 24-48 hrs she will have to be re-admitted. I hope everything goes ok.

Well the nice weather is gone. My sisters surgery went fine. There were no complications. Now the pain is another story. Now I'm even more nervous about having it done. Thats the bad thing about starting the journey with someone. Whoever goes 2nd will get the jitters seeing what the other person went thru. I have to keep telling myself this is life or death.

but it's only for one day. We might have some flurries on Saturday night. Better Saturday than Sunday since I have my 2nd sleep study on Sunday to try out the different cpap machines. My sister had her rny done this morning. Right now she in recovery waiting for a room. I'm going to leave work early today to go visit her. I hope I dont get scared off lol....Bye 4 now.

The holiday weekend seemed to fly by. Wait, all the weekends seem to fly by, lol. Here it is Monday and I hadn't heard from the girl from the surgeons office. So I called there and told someone else to just set me up for a surgery date in April after I get the cpap. Drumroll please...........April 23rd is my date! The dr's office still hasn't gotten anything on my approval so I will be faxing them the letter I got just to make sure I'm not bonkers and the letter does mean I've been approved. OH, did I mention my sister is having her rny this Wednesday? And she started this process after I did.

I called the surgeon's office back to let them know. They are going to call tomorrow and see if they can get an earlier appointment for me. Without the machine I can't have the suurgery. Maybe it's meant to work out this way. Bye for now.....

I guess I'm kind of late starting this blog. Back in Dec. I got approval for the lap band then I had gallbladder surgery in January. My pcp would not give me approval then. During that time I decided to switch to bypass. I got my Insurance approval letter today. Yes! Oh yeah, during all of this my blood pressure went up so now my pcp won't sign off until he sees it's under control. I go see him on Wednesday. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
