needles. i despise you.

so since i moved to tenn i still have to go to my doctor in Ohio for my surgery and so we made the 6 hour drive this sunday for my 4 appointments this past monday. long drive but sooo worth it! i now have everything pre op done so next trip down ill be getting my surgery :) so since i have a history of asthma i had to have a blood gas test, which means they have to get a sample of the blood that hasnt filtered through my body yet and still has oxygen in it. theres only 3 places you can get it from, your heart, your inner thigh, or the inside of your wrist. this is not like when you normally have blood drawn cause the needle has to go straight into the artery! ugh so yea 3 tries on the insides of my wrist later and we finally hit my artery. needless to say it hurt. a lot. lol im not into pain at all! but neway im doing good and im so thankful that i dont have to do a liquid diet i just need to stay low cal and high protein and start working on protein shakes, neways good luck all!
