Tomorrow, will officially be 1 week post-op surgery. I am amazed at how well I feel. I went to my husbands pre-op testing today and talked with some other bariactric patients. When I said I just had the surgery last Tuesday, their mouths dropped open and was shocked that I was "out and about".I will say some days are a little tougher than other days. For example: I have never been one to be bothered by a commercial --but for whatever reason (probably because I KNOW that I cannot eat that food), things look good to me that NEVER did before. This is where I know that it's changing the mind part that will be the thing to conquer for myself.
I am still walking daily, and as of this morning weighing myself --I am down 20lbs!
