I began to gain weight when I began to have children. With each of my 4 pregnancies I gained the required 20-25lbs., except I never lost the weight after the babies were born . And 4 pregnancies in 5 years can really make you pack on the pounds. When all was said and done I weighed about 185lbs. Over the years I tried and was successful with many diet programs and fad diets. My problem was never in losing the weight, it was in keeping the weight off. Each time I regained the weight I'd gain an extra 5 or 10 along with it. I even managed to lose 80lbs. a couple years ago by following south beach diet and working 'curves gym' 5 days a week. I dropped from a size 22 to a size 8/10. I even managed to keep it off for almost 2 years. I eventually regained the weight after a bout of depression. Gaining the weight back deepened my depression and I gained even more. I am now at my heaviest weight of about 265 and I'm excited and I thank God that I am on the cusp of a new chapter in my life and I will say goodbye, for the last time, to this body.
