I am so happy. Today for the first time in my life I weigh less than my brother. I have lost 75 pounds total (58 since surgery). Everything seems to be going great. I started in size 30 jeans and today I bought size 20/22.
Two week post op appointment...

Had my two week post op appointment today. Good news is 296.3 lbs bad news is nutritionist told me I had to wait to start purees. I guess that its because I haven't been reaching my protien goal. I don't really think that I can get the protien in without starting purees. I don't like the taste of any of the protein.

Woooohoooo....I weighed myself yesterday and I am in the 2's....298.4 lbs to be exact. I put my jeans on and they are hanging so low my undies were showing in the back. My top fit so good, just like it should have when I bought it. My husband couldn't believe how loose all my clothes is getting. It was a big surprise to both of us because I have been wearing sweat pants and you can't really tell. I felt so good.....
We went to my parents for Chrismas Eve Diner and everyone was amazed. Although everyone was worried about eating in front of me but I explained that it didn't bother me at all, and that it is all worth it.

Weighed myself this morning and I am 301 lbs. I am hoping to be under 300 in the next few days. I haven't seen that in so long that I can' t remember. I am so excited.....

Well I have had my surgery and am back at home. Over all the surgery and hospital stay was good. I don't really have any pain. Thats nice. Getting the fluids and proteins in has not been easy. I am maybe half way.
I met some great people at the hospital. Lynn and Penny a couple of ladies from the OH website. It was nice to have people there that I kind of knew and were going through the same thing.
So far so Good. Looking forward to keeping my New Years Resolution for the first time ever.
