 I have lost 25 pounds in about a month I can t believe I am coming upon my one month anniversary things are getting easier everyday. Come visit me on my YouTube channel love my pouch. 

I am so happy to see the scale tipped in my favor 12 pounds lost in a week. I am ready for the stall lol. but i need to go back to ymca for workout etc. Right now I took a coolace and I feel like it got stuck in my pouch, just a little bit of pressure and burning

I am home from hospital and just finding out how much I hate smells and taste of certain things. I have a lot of head hunger which I didnt think in the beginning I would have. I have constant feeling of bloat which doctor said is trapped gas. I am walking and trying to get my liquid down, because I have that funny taste in my mouth and pee doesnt smell to great. so they say to drink drink drink (its hard when you constantly feel bloated and have pain in your back and stoma. Since I have the pain constantly it is hard to tell when my pouch is filled out. I am learning how to cope one day at a time. Next week this time should be a lot better.

I am having my surgery tomorrow. I had a wonderful last meal except for the wait staff but they dont really matter do they. Anyways, I am so excited, scared, nervous and getty all at the same time. I have to pack and have a counselor appt at 3 00 today. Karen is going to spend the night we are going to carve pumpkins and watch true blood.

Well I did it !!!!!

Done with everything just need to go to hospital on oct 11 for surgery
I got to say Approval was easy however the wait was hard.
But now its over and I can get ready for surgery

I am so ready to have this surgery however still waiting for approval from Aetna. They are driving me nuts. I call almost everyday to try and speed this process up because I need to make arrangements. Will keep you guys posted.

Had my last pre op appt with Dr Gagne today. All good, just wanted to insurance decision. I am nervous and scared but so excited to. They gave me a lot of information for pre and post op head is swimming. I just need to remind myself to take it one day at a time and I will be fine. lol

I hope I get the insurance approval soon because surgery is scheduled for Oct 11, which will be here before you know it
I have to call Aetna for disability papers too.

I can't wait until Oct 11. I am counting down the days. I think my biggest fear is what do I eat after. i mean yeah I can follow what is on a piece of paper but what if..... Like what if I eat to much how will I know I know you get a full feelling but still and what if I cant eat at all and what if I dump. I am scared of the unknown. But willing to take that chance. I am down to 311 again from 354, which was my heaviest. More later 33 days and counting

the doctor was upset and said he wouldnt do the surgery because the month before i was eating like crazy and gained 14 pds that month. So i buckled down and said you want this and need this do things right. I used meal rep shakes called bariartic advantage 2-3 times a day and a sensible meal it was hard the first week for me. Headaches and tired but after that man the energy and i made sure that I drank atleast 64oz of water I know that is hard but it is key. I just filled my water bottle and made sure I was on point at a certain time in the day like at 10 am i knew i had to have drank atleast 24oz then by two another 24oz. it seemed to help me

I am moving right along this time. I had my sleep study and my stress test done on July 1. I didnt have to run on trend mill Doc said my heart is great and didnt need to do it or the dye test. Just waiting to see surgeon on July 29 and this month is my last weight check. I am getting nervous and excited. I went out and bought some things I will need for this journey. I hope that Aetna approves me on the first try. I always put the cart before the horse
