Hi all
  Sorry it was been a while since I have been on here, but I am doing great. I had my surgery on Wednesday Feb. 9 and was home on Friday the 11th. The only problem I am having is sleeping, I hate sleeping on back so hopefully it will only be a couple more days. I am down 52 lbs since my first appointment.
  I want to thank all the wounderful people who helped me out with my millions of questions.

Today marks the one week point of taking Optifast. I am down 14 lbs. I have not been feeling great but if the weight keeps coming off I can deal with it.  Had my pre-opt appt today via teleconference the Doctor cut my insulin from 50 units three times a day to 10 units three times a day. I am very HAPPY about this. The nurse will also be in contact every 3 days to change it again if needed.

   All and all eveything is going good. I think is makes the Optifast taste better.         Nope still taste crap

Today was the hardest day so far. I have had a headache and my body has been acky all day.(more then usual) All I have wanted is a sandwich all day. Well I'm done bitching losing 6 is a good thing. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

 has been the hardiest day so far.  Took my son to mall and he had humburger and fries (my weakness). Today we had a eurche  party and everyone had drinks and ate some great food. All I had was my optifast. I was so tempted, but was able to make the whole night with out cheating. Tomorrow will be hard SUNDAY FOOTBALL

day 2 of opti-fast went ok got a head acke in the evening. It does taste better when mixing with crystal lite.
