Alexis, Best wishes as you start this next leg of your WLS journey. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow as you have your surgery. I only wish I had done this at your age and not waited till I was almost 40 to change my life for the better! Follow those surgeon's orders and you'll be dropping pounds like crazy before you know it! Hugs, Lea

Try to relax, you'll do great. Just focus on where you are going. As far as complications to, All I have to say about that is there are a lot more complications form being obese. I am a living testimony to that. My lungs are my and my doc biggest concern as I have damage from asthma and pneumonia. I also have murrmers from Phen Fen and that did more damage to my lungs. My arthritis is killing me. I can't walk anymore. You are young, so you want to get it done now before comorbidities get bad. You are chosing the safer path. I hope that will help you relax a little. Have a good time at your BBQ and keep busy. I'll be watching for reports about you. Diana
