pre-op appt????

it's feb 20th,still no call to schedule pre-op appt.so I called and Chris made me one for Mar 12th.trying to get me pre-admission testing papers faxed over so I can try to do both appts on the same day since it is so far away.
Still same old thing here,not dieting still smoking,I have ,have ,have to start.I think I will commit to feb 28th.

I have been acrive on the boards for about 2 years now still pre-op ,so I thought I would write my story finally..lol
I am 43 years old weigh 282 and 5'3".I have 2 beautiful children 1 girl 8 and 1 boy 3.They take up alot of my time and I love it.
I just want so bad to be more physical part of their life.I have always been heavy but I am at my absolute heaviest now at 282lbs.I am embarressed to say that.I have lost like all the rest of us on yo yo diets and adkins but it just does not stay off.
When I met myhusband I had lost 65lbs and weighed 155lbs.Got married gained little by little.Before my first child I weight 208lbs.
After my first child I was at 242lbs for more than 3-4 yrs.After my last one I was pregnant and weighted 253.I WEIGH MORE NOW THAT I DID WHEN I WAS PREGNANT...OMG..how ashamed I am of that.
So my mobility is presistantly getting worse.Now my knees ache and I am so out of breathe just going up a few stairs.
My husband is sos scared that I am gonna keel over or something.
I work in pharmaceutical manufacturing so I am pretty active sometimes more than others.I work 4-10 hour days and commute and hour each way.
I was on vacation with my family in '07 and overheard my neice talking about the lapband,so I was so excited and got right on it,went to seminar,the surgeon did not like the band, so now I am heading for RNY,and so excited again.
Well I jumped through their hoops and got approved and I read a post about the DS,and thought,aahh just check it out.
I have been hooked and mesmerized and researching ever since.
I was scheduled for my ds on Oct 27th,I was in the pre-op room waiting for them to take me back to OR when my surgeon came in and told me that his office had let my cardio tests expire and so he could not do the surgery.After doing the liquid diet,phsyched myself for this life changing surgery to have it jerked out as quick as that.
So my surgeon was going to be out for a few weeks(medical) and could not re-schedule me until Jan sometime.
I got a call in Dec saying he has to be out for a few more weeks ,so I am now scheduled for March 25th.
I am very anxiously waiting my turn to put my butt on the losers bench.Come on March!!!!!
