day 3 post op

ok everyone... I'm home! surgery went well on monday... they released me yesterday about 1 pm. Monday night was definitely a rough one. I didn't sleep hardly at all - I don't remember much of Monday anyway lol Tuesday - I had a nurse that was a bit rough and didn't seem to know much about tlc lol I was kind of bummed when I found out I'd have her Wednesday as well. But all went well. The only pain I seem to really be having is from all the air they pumped in my belly. Today it has finally moved to my shoulder so I'm hoping it will be gone soon. they gave me some nausea medicine to put under my tongue, as well as oral pain meds. It's amazing that so lil can fill me up! I drink one ounce of water slowly and cannot believe that it completely makes me full! I'm up walking - and the nursing staff pretty much gave up on me. I unplugged all my stuff and walked all the time. They said it was pretty amazing. I felt good enough to do so and hated waiting on them to unplug me. I just put in my ipod and walked and walked and walked. I'm trying to do some of that at home. But I'm at my moms house and she has two huge dogs. I'm afraid one of them is going to jump on me. So I have to sneak out the door when I am ready to walk lol. I'll keep u all updated. I can't wait for all the water weight I gained from the iv to be gone. I was so pissed when I weighed in when i started this whole thing I was 298. The day of my surgery I was 274. When they weighed me on my bed in the hospital - I was 291! I was like WTF???? I worked so hard getting that weight off! They told me they were pumping so many fluids in me that I had so much water weight. It better come off soon! lol Alright I'll post more later!
