WoW! Moments Pt. 1

Dec 19, 2008

Okay, confession time.  I haven't been as diligent about my protein intake as I should have been.  I suspect I've been getting around 50 - 70g a day... but I haven't been keeping track, like I should.  I am changing that... starting TODAY!

::: End Confession Time:::

My daughter turned 2 last Saturday (December 13th)... we had a big party for her ... unfortunately she was sick ... well, she just had a stuffy nose... which has unfortunately progressed to a full on ICK!  And... now I have it too.  THIS SUCKS!  I was very well behaved at her party, I must admit.  I tasted a wee tiny bit of icing that got on my fingers when I was cutting the cake...but otherwise did not venture into CandyLand.  I did have a small handful of mini pretzel twists ... (about 6 pretzels)... and that was it.  I was actually pretty proud of myself.

Tomorrow night is our Annual Xmas Party... (for friends) here at the house and I hate that I am sick.  IT SUCKS!  ... did I mention that THIS SUCKS!

The weight is still melting off... I have had a few stalls... but nothing I am freaking out over, I did my homework and EXPECTED to hit some plateaus... so it's all good!  And I am very pleased with my weight loss.  (Aside from the Yucks that I caught from Piper)... I FEEL GREAT!  I have more energy, I can get up earlier without feeling like I only slept for 10 minutes.  I can keep up with Piper... and I've even had a few surprise WOW! Moments.    I can cross my legs, I can chase my daughter, I can tie my shoes and breathe and the same time and I FIT in a regular Movie theatre seat ... COMFORTABLY!  Pretty wild!

I am really glad I made this choice... and all the crap I went through to get here... well, it was ALL worth it to feel like this and not be worried about my health the way I used to be.  Its wonderful!

Cheers and Healthier Days Ahead!
