Talked to Elizabeth's family member. Surgery was to at 10:30 but moved to 1:00. She is still in recovery. Will give another update agin later tonight.

Hey Elizabeth! Just wanted to add my best wishes to everyone elses. Hope your surgery goes well and your recovery goes as smooth as mine did. Soon you will join the ranks of your fellow "losers!" It is a new life on this side, some ups and downs but in the long run, few regrets! Will be looking forward to your posts as the "new you!!!"

Hiya Elizabeth! Thanks for posting on my page. Its great to know that you and I have the same surgery date woo hoo are you ready?? I cant wait to get it over with. Your BMI and mine is not too far apart i think mine is 56.1. We should take this opportunty to share our journey together since we will both be going through it at the same time. I wish you the best of luck and pray that our gracious lord places his hands and eyes and gives wisdom to your surgery team and that all things will go smoothly. You will be in my prayers good luck ! You will probably all hear me scream if they cancel my surgery again this week!!! I do not have a definite time yet, will get thtat today, somewhere around noon. The wonderful Ms. Tina Rainey will be posting updates for me and I am sure I will be in contact with the great Ms Outland also. Anyone inthe DesMoines area (or anywhere else) please feel free to visit Methodist this weekend-probably Saturday afternoon or later. But please pardon my appearance. I really am not that nervous, yet. I did kinda have a small melt down about midnight last night. I got up and wrote a letter to my family and one to the love of my life, Jeff. Then I was fine. Today will be finishing up those little tasks, laundry, groceries for the non-liquid people here, (I have all my stuff), and making sure my bag has what I need. Then, going to Mom's house for a bit to try to calm her down. I am not nervous because she is bad enough for both of us! LOL Yesterday was her birthday and she said the only thing she wanted was for me to come home and start getting healthier. Now does that sound like a Mom thing or what?? LOL Keep your fingers crossed for me and God willing, I will be back here posting middle of next week. Thanks for all the support, I will work on "paying it forward" when I get home. Only two wake ups left. Surgery on Friday. Please keep your fingers crossed that they don't cancel on me THIS time. Anyone else that was not nervous this close to their big day? I still have tomorrow and Friday morning to get through, but I am as calm as can be right now. Best wishes to all where ever you are in your journey! Elizabeth
