I was a stick right up until I hit puberty.  Then, I grew a butt.  And it grew and it grew and it grew.  No matter how hard I tried to contain it........there it was.  I could hide it below tables, behind chairs, you all know the drill.  Found the Freshman 10 when I went to college.  But, then I got engaged and joined Weight Watchers.  Got myself undercontrol and lost 35 lbs and was a svelte 175 when I got married.  Damn, feeling good.  Preggers right off the bat.  Quit smoking and ate.  Gained 50 lbs with the first kid, lost 20.  Gained 35 with the 2nd kid, lost 10.  Gained 21 with the 3rd kid and lost 40.  Then, it just started creeping on 10# here, 10# there.  Up to 308 total. Ewww.

Got Divorced.  Nothing quite like the "Divorce" Diet.  Damned expensive but it works!  Down to 204.  3 years later met someone I totally enjoy hanging with.  We got married a year later.  By then, tho, the "Jelly Roll of Contentment" started taking over.  Up to 280.  Tired of YoYo dieting.

Diagnosed with Pre-Diabetes (blood sugar was 108).  Got it under control with meds.  Snore like a mad dog.  Sleep apnea - got it.  Bad hips, bad back, bad knees.  Finally figured out that if I really want to enjoy life with my hubby, I need to get my butt up out of the chair and off the sidelines.  So..........Did my research and going for Weight Loss Surgery.

Made a deal with myself.  If I could stop smoking and dump the diet pepsi, I could manage the new life style after weight loss surgery.  I'm 4+ months out after stopping smoking and 2+ months without a diet pepsi.  I'm there.  Starting appointments b4 surgery!  Will Power and Strength!
