"I was impressed by what I read about her. She took her time during the small group consultation to go into a lot of detail about the types of WLS available. She stressed that she only schedules laproscopic surgeries because of the easier recovery for the patient. She then met with each of us privately. She asked questions about health conditions and went over the completed paperwork I brough in. She was warm and has done almost 1000 bariatric surgeries. She will recheck for leaks immediately after the procedure and not every surgeon does this. Most just get an X-ray the next day which isn't as accurate as what Dr. Pupkova does. She gives her patients her cell phone number and tells them to call with any concern. Both surgical competence and bedside manner are great. I have confidence that I am in good hands with Dr. P. She has not lost one patient. I am waiting to schedule my surgery."
