Hi everyone,
My name is Leatha, and I live in Eastern Kentucky, or how we refer to it around here ...."Just about Heaven!" We have lived on this farm for about 15 years, just about how long I have been really overweight, because I have been on diets like most of you all, ever since I was about 16 years old, I would lose 15-30 pounds, then next year lose all of that plus another 10 pounds, then regain and start over every year, make a New Year Resolution, and promise myself, this time I swear I will do it! I have to!
But like most people that goes about it that way, you and I both know, we failed, yet once again! This goes on and on, year after year, then finally one day it is like you just woke up, and you realized you have been fat all of your life, now you are older, now with all kinds of things wrong with you, you are not healthy any more, and you feel like life passed you by, and you think there is no hope for any one like you. Then one day you are watching TV and see people tell about how their lives were saved by having some kind of surgery. Then you get on the computer and start doing research, and you get a little glimmer of hope! Could this be it??? Could this help me??? Is this the answers to all of those prayers that I thought were unheard??
