I'm 52 years old and love food! Even own a restaurant among other things. Food has been an incredible passion for me and it shows! I never thought about weight loss surgery until I had an entertainer play at my venue who had lost a ton of weight from the days I would see him on television or in concert. As we talked, he told me about his surgery and he said, "it was the greatest thing he had ever done!" Later, one of my wife's friends and co-worker took the plunge on February 9, 2009. I'm so proud of her and I've watched her progress closely. Now, I'm there. I look forward to the journey. My son is getting married on August 15 so that's my first goal. Lose enough weight that I'm not an embarrassment in the photos! So...here we go!
