Thank you so much for your support. I read your journey and could relate so much to many of your pre-op feelings. I am looking forward to the surgery and really am not concerned about any negatives. The way I figure it, if I die, then that will be preferable to living the empty life I've always had. My company went on a field trip the other day and no one would set by me on the bus. It felt lonely and sad, but it was the first time I've allowed myself to feel like this. I guess it is safe to feel the long since buried agony because there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I notice everything about myself now and think ... 11 more days ... 10 more days ... and my life will begin to change. More later ...
