"I have now had tow different procedures with Dr. Fleming. In October 2013 he did my Lower Body Lift. The results were fantastic. Not only did he care for me during the initial recovery period but continuously followed up afterward to make sure I got a result I was happy with. This week I completed a Brachioplasty and Mastopexy procedure with Dr. Fleming. My recovery is proceeding smoothly, and I am already seeing wonderful improvement. I short I can give Dr. Fleming my most impassioned recommendation without any reservation. He is not only a fine surgeon but an excellent clinician. He did a thorough initial exam during the estimate phase. He was the only surgeon who palpated the excess skin and the underlying musculature. We had detailed discussions about each section of my body and what my goals were - both cosmetically and functionally. He had by far the most demonstrable experience with male patients. He also clearly spends a great deal of time with WLS patients. He understands what our challenges are and the unique issues we face. Make an appointment. You won't be disappointed."

"I had my surgery with Dr Houston on November 2, 2011. At that time I was 343 pounds. I was suffering from ailments that my parents were having, 20+ years my senior. I was dying. By the time I had my 9 month check up with Dr. Houston, I had lost 170 lbs. I had also had additional surgeries to correct my bilateral cataracts. I had my first surgery scheduled to remove excess skin. At this time, I am almost two years out and I am maintaining. None of this would have been possible without support from Dr. Houston and the staff at Centennial. There are many people who have mixed opinions about Dr. Houston. Some say he has o bedside manner. Some say he is tough. I will say that he cares very deeply about his patients and their success. He has personally answered calls and e-mails from me at all times. He has offered advice when needed during my journey. Recently when I developed a hernia, he offered a recommendation on where to get it fixed. He is known for taking the tough cases that other surgeons won't and is known for taking on other surgeons mistakes. I could not recommend Dr. Houston strongly enough, or the entire Centennial family. The program works, if you are willing to let it."

"I had consults with three different area plastic surgeons before selecting Dr. Fleming. While the other surgeons may have had more fashionably appointed offices, and staff out front that could have been models (all blonde, perfect skin and teeth, skinny and busty), Dr. Fleming was the only one who actually conducted a thorough physical exam. He examined all aspects of my skin, palpated the underlying musculature, and took the appropriate measurements. After the exam we sat down for well over 30 minutes to discuss his proposed treatment plan and the options. Dr. Fleming has vast experience in working with bariatric patients and has the utmost respect for us and our journeys. He was also the ONLY surgeon out of the ones I visited who was prepared to discuss the particular challenges that the male patient would face in undergoing a LBL and abdominoplasty. He was able to discuss the challenges I would have with healing, particularly in the groin area, with exercising, and with everyday activities. All of the other plastic surgeons only focused on the female population - even with their before and after photos. Dr. Fleming was the only surgeon who had samples from other men with weight loss and backgrounds similar to mine. He had a rather extensive collection. There are many great and talented plastic surgeons in Nashville. Dr. Fleming is mine."

"I would give Dr. Houston specifically and The entire Centennial Team in general, a full 50 stars if I could. At all times Dr. Houston was kind, professional, and supportive. I went through the process rather quickly (in about a month) and both Dr. Houston and Holly mad the process absolutely stress free - from dealing with the insurance process, pre-op care, and post-op care. This was my first surgery ever and I had a good deal of emotional fear even though intellectually I knew the risks and how low they were and what I had to gain. Dr. Houston and his staff were compassionate and understanding. My family was invited to participate up until the time I was taken into the pre-op area. After the surgery Dr. Houston spoke to my family and reassured them. As for the surgery itself, Dr. Houston must be the Michelangelo of the operating room. I had more discomfort from the IV and breathing tube than from the Sleeve or the incisions. The incisions themselves have healed quickly and some are almost unnoticeable a month after surgery. In aftercare, Dr. Houston has taken the time to personally return phone calls and e-mails with medical questions. If you are considering Bariatric Surgery, I would give my highest recommendation to Dr. Houston and the Centennial Center for the Treatment of Obesity."
