Rhiannon, Good luck on your surgery tomorrow. As I write this, you are probably experiencing liquid day, being that it's the day before your surgery. Let me tell 'ya, this too will pass. Especially when you get to those antibiotics, keep repeating to yourself over and over that it's for a healthier life. You'll do great tomorrow! We're saving a spot for you on the loser's bench. May the hand of God steady the hand of Dr. Cole and keep him alert. My advice to you is try and stay as alert as you can. Remember all the nurse's names. Send them cards in a few weeks. Remember and enjoy every aspect of your hospital stay and your journey: It's the beginning of a new life! Oh, and ask Dr. Cole silly questions in the OR. Like, right before they put the mask on you, ask him when the last time he consumed an alcoholic beverage or if he had his Wheaties that morning! He'll get a kick out of it! Good luck again, Rhiannon!
