Onederland!!!

I actually got down to 199 about 2 weeks ago, but I have been waiting to claim it because I go back and forth between 198 & 201. It's even been 197 or 196 a time or two. But that's how my losses always go. I am very happy about it but not as excited as I would of thought. I guess it's because I just kind of take my weight in stride now rather than getting upset or anxious over it, so even the really good things during my loss are less "emotional" than they would have been for me before surgery.  It's great though, to be at a weight that I haven't been at for so long.

I cooked chicken quarters in the crock pot yesterday and used some of the chicken for lunch and supper today. I pulled the meat off the bones, diced it up and put 2 oz. in a gladware square container. I covered it with about 1/4 cup of low sugar pizza sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese. It was great and filled me up for hours. I could not eat my usual afternoon snack  because I was too full. This is definitely something I will do again! A great way for me to get in chicken and get a pizza fix too! This morning I had Linda Farnsworth's "pumpkin protein shake" and it was great. Also very filling (it's used as a meal replacement because it's higher in calories) and I couldn't eat my midmorning snack either! Those snacks are usually a cheese stick or mixed nuts or occasionally a wasa cracker with PB or a slice of cheese. Helps with the protein and keeps me from going too long with an empty pouch.

I'm trying to get back in the treadmill habit but have been very tired and drug out lately. PMS and sinus problems. Today I've been headachy, sore scratchy throat, swollen glands in neck, and feel like I inhaled a box of pepper up my nose and into my sinuses. I have to research and see what I can take for this before it gets worse. Yesterday my ear hurt also but that has been better today, thankfully. Speaking of aches - my butt sure gets sore these days! My poor tail bone really takes a lot of pressure. I've never had a butt and didn't think this would be a problem for me, but boy was I wrong. The price we pay for getting thinner, huh! LOL!

In 4 days I'll be 47. I am SO glad that I had RNY and this birthday I will weigh about 80 lbs less than I weighed on my last birthday. I think I'll live a lot longer and enjoy life a lot more than I would have if I had not had the surgery. My first grandchild is due Nov. 1st, although the doctor is now saying more like October 19th. I can hardly wait to see her. I look forward to watching her grow up and get married being there in her life as an active healthy person! Thank You God for leading me to this answer to all my prayers about my weight!
