Well, here I am 15-months after WLS and I weigh 180 lbs....so unbelievable!!!  All I can say to anyone who is thinking of having this is....this has been the most difficult journey at times, but now it has proven to be the best thing that I have ever done for myself and my family.  I have added so many years to my life!!  I feel so much more healthy and I like what I see in the mirror!!  If feels good to be able to go out to eat and sit in a booth and have space between myself and the table!!!  Just the little things that when I was overweight I held back from doing because I didn't want to embarass myself!  I am so thankful everyday that my insurance approved my surgery and I have been able to finally succeed in losing my weight!  All I can say is that it has definitely been worth it!  Now I can eat anything just in smaller quantities, and still watch my sugar intake to some degree!  Thank  you, Lord!!!  This surgery has blessed my life!  If you need encouragement  please don't hesitate to email me, [email protected]; I will be glad to encourage and uplift you!  Take care!

This has been a difficult journey at times, but it has been so worth it in the end!  I can hardly believe, I now weigh 188 lbs.....WOW!!!  I feel so much better!!!

It's hard for me to believe, but I now weigh under 200 lbs, currently at 195......all I can say is WOW!!!!  It feels GREAT!!!!  I just have to pinch myself, almost eight months out and 111 lbs are gone!!!!

Well, 7 months out and 100 pounds lighter......all I can say is WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!   I don't remember ever feeling this good!!!  I am so happy that I did this!  There were times, I must admit, that I regretted that I had done this to myself, but now I am so thankful that I did!   Dr. Weinstein said that I should lose about 20 more pounds, but I am perfectly content if I stay right where I am at now!!!!

Went for my 6 month check-up.....I had not weighed in a couple of weeks because I wanted to be surprised!!!  91 lbs......I could not believe it, I cried!  This has been a hard road, difficult at times, but it has been so worth it!!!  I would recommend anyone who has struggled with their weight all their life, to take this chance and become a healthier person.  I did not realize how weighed, literally, that I was at 306 lbs!  Now I feel like I could run a marathon, I will have to post some new pics! Went back for checkup today, already down 55 lbs, so hard to believe...I am almost under 250 lbs, WOW...it's been awhile since I was at that weight!!  Feeling better and I know that I am looking better as well!

Went for my 4-week check up today...and I am down 28 lbs now!!  That is so unbelievable, I have never lost more than 22 lbs. on any diet that I have tried, throughout my life!!!!  Starting to feel a little more like myself, will be glad to eat normal food again, SOMEDAY!!!! 

Well, as of today I am 24 lbs down......WOW!!!  3 weeks out and I am feeling better today, still on full liquids, some things pureed.  I have my next check-up on Jan 31st, will let you know how it goes!  My hospital experience went very well....I actually got to go home a day early, and I was so glad!  Til next time!

Well, today I jumped through hoops, LOL, all the lab work, EKG, xray, Upper GI....which wasn't too bad!  Was better than I had expected!  Lady was awesome taking my blood, did not hurt at all!!!  Just 13 days away....so hard to believe!! Thanks for all the support and I will be sure to keep you posted after surgery!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

Well, My date of surgery is December 31, 2007.....I am so excited!!!!!!  It's kind of hard to believe that it is finally here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  BEGIN was boring, but  i got through it!!!  I gotta go on December 18th for upper GI, but I am so excited!!!
