The beginning of my journey....

Well I was approved for surgery and had the lap band on Jan 17th 2008. I was not one bit nervous either which I thought was weird seeing that I have never had surgery before. Maybe it was because I knew I was getting my life back! Everything went well and my journey has begun!! My one week post op visit I was down 10lbs!!! I guess eating broth/jello/pudding and mashed potatoes will do it. I went for my first fill today Feb 15 08 and I was down another 5 lbs. That makes 15lbs in a month!! My fill was uneventful which was great. Doc says I am doing great. I have 3cc in my 10cc band. I go back in a month for a check up.
