Back on Track

Jan 04, 2011

Well, I'm back on obesityhelp.com and if the truth be told I never should have left.  After surgery, I made it all the way down to 260 but then I started getting lazy and taking my tool for granted.  I managed to gain 75 pounds back and have been half-heartedly working on losing again and did lose 35 pounds.  But I have officially decided I need to get my butt in gear and quit taking my tool for granted.  I have worked too hard to make myself healthy to let myself go again. God has given me a second chance by allowing me to have this surgery and I'm going to take every advantage of it that I can.  I am making my goals simple - get my protein in, accurately log my food intake, excercise and lose 20 pounds.  I need to lose 40 to get back down to my lowest weight but I decided to go with smaller increments to make them a little more achievable so I don't get discouraged.  I know that losing the weight is going to be harder now that I am almost 5 years out but I will do this.  I have a wonderful man in my life and a very handsome 13 year old and they rely on my being here.  I can and will do this!!!!!!!!
