It's the best thing you can do for yourself and others.  I have lost 160 pounds and can't say enough about my lapband and surgeon.  Dr. Ortiz and Dr. Martinez are the best ever and truly the best gift I have ever been given.  I thank God every EVERY day for them.  The BEST care I've ever received in a hospital, the most loving and caring staff.  I thank them for giving me the tool to get ME back.  I never forget where I came from so that I never lose compassion for others and that I remember it's just a tool, not a fix.  I have to make right choices daily and be aware of snarls and pits.  I've had to make great changes, some not so easy.  New life style, friends, job and many more to keep my focus on the new and true life I have.
