Hope every one is doing great.  I have been good.  I got down to 122 lbs and in a size 4.  I can't believe it's me. I do not like old pictures of me.  My youngest daughter got married 2 weeks ago so I want her to help me load some pictures on my site.  Life is great I feel so much better.  Now my biggest fear is gaining weight back. Please keep me in your prayers.

Lost 100 lbs.

Apr 23, 2007

Here it April 23, 2007 , 11 months after surgery.   I have lost 100 lbs. I feel so much better, life is great.  Everyone says I have lost enough and that is so odd to here, I still don't like pictures of myself.  I am in size 6 and sm/med tops.  I was in a 24.  What a difference.  It is hard to believe it is me and so hard to thank people when they go on about the difference and not recognize me out.   When I don't feel that small.  Now I have to work on my mind,  I have be heavy so long, I just don't see myself small.  I have never wore a size 6 in my life, that I can remember.  God is so good to me and my family, he has blessed me so much.

Life is great!!

It has been awhile since I have written.  Alot is going on here and we are planning another wedding for my youngest daughter this year, Dec. 29, 2007.  I have lost 92 lbs.  and wearing size 8 jeans,  and small and med. shirts, and 7 1/2 - 8 shoes instead of 8 1/2- 9.  My weight is 143 lbs., from 235 lbs.  It feels great.  I don't know when in my life time that I ever wore a size 8,  I'm sure I did in grade school but I don't ever remember it.  Everyone tells me I look  like my 22 yr. old daughter.  I don't hardly see that, she is so much prettier and a size 3.  I think she's afraid I might catch up with her.  I think the girls are proud of me,  they tell me anyway.   My husband seems to be happy too.    I didn't understand why some people didn't want to tell everyone they had surgery, but I totally understand now.   When you say "you had surgery", they think or say things like you cheated.  So now when people say how did you lose the weight, I say " I get up at 5am, every morning and excercise 3 miles a day and I have to watch what I eat and how much I eat and I had gastic bypass May 25."  I want them to know how hard we have to work at this, it is not the easy way out.  And I will have to do this the rest of my life to keep it this way.  It's a way of life now.
God is so good to me and has blessed me so much.
