6 Months Post Op

Oct 03, 2011

Today is 6 months and what a difference it has made in my life.  I am told that I walk around with a smile on my face all the time.  I feel so much better and much happier.  My confidence is soooooo much higher and the changes in my body are awesome.  I need more time to process the size difference when I shop but that is a problem I am very willing to adjust too.  Anyone that is in the beginning of this wild journey, you better hold on tight for the ride of a lifetime.  It's a fast one but one that is so worth taking.  I am glad I did this when I did and the rest of my days here on earth will be much more fullfilling.  This was not a decision that came lightly so beginners you must take this decision very serious and be committed forever.  I have changed my life like I never would of imagined.  One thing to remember, IT IS NOT THE EASY WAY OUT BECAUSE IT IS NOT EASY!!! One thing I heard when I went to my very first informational session was, you think your on a diet before just wait until after.  That has stuck with me ever since.  You always need to keep in mind how much you are drinking, eating and your vitamins.  Now only being 6 months post op I am not sure what the future holds but this has been my journey thus far.  Good luck to the newbys and to all the less than 6 monther's.  My RNY rocks!
