NutriSystem Foods

Oh my Okay I had to tell you all if you never tried it don't someone gave me a hamburger Patti and flat bread pizza from NutriSystem..

Okay I thought the calories are really low the protein is high so yeah I'll try it they say it taste good...

and so forth no doubt you all seen a commercial on it please that was just a blown up PIC that chick was never big and if so the moomoo dress made her look even bigger in which she wasn't big at all to me that is to a 95 lb. 115lb person maybe 150lb to 165lb is big to them..

but back to the food I get home and try the burger I read directions which is says remove from package so I took it out of the box,

okay I am dense at time so I thought that was the package it meant well then direction call for you to soak it in hot boiling water for 2 minutes, OK I am thinking it like those tiny bags that have chip cream beef and stuff I used to have over toast or rice n noodles ma used to feed us..

Well, the package didn't stay well so I put a lid on it let it sit for a few minutes came back took it out opened it seems my burger is very light and dried out I bit into it.

It turns like a powder dry substance IM like okay it tastes like a burger but dry as heck then I realize your supposed to add the hot water into the little white tray the dried Patti is sitting in Hahahahaha..

OK, OK now that Ya all had a good laugh it don't taste to bad but for the price they want for dried out food maybe for you people that have money on the go work 12 hours a day sure but the flat bread pizza was totally gross and I tossed it to the birds after all they need food too ..

Consistency Eventually Leads to Breakthroughs!

Consistency Eventually Leads to Breakthroughs!

Sweat the Small Stuff

-- By Chris Downie

Consistency, so important to the SparkPeople System, is something our society often overlooks. People are so focused on wanting things now that they aren't willing to spend the time consistently doing small things over time. This attitude results in loads of stress and lost opportunities.

Here's how you can reap the benefits of consistently doing small things:

First, pick small goals that can be somewhat easily integrated into your normal daily schedule. Examples include:

10 minute workout in the morning
Taking fruits and vegetables to work (packs of raisins, an apple, or a bag of carrots)
Giving yourself small breaks throughout the day to relax or meditate
Working on a new skill for a certain amount of time each week Next, set specific goals based on these, then write down the goals and track them. MySpark is one great way to track your goals. Doing these small goals consistently will build a good foundation - a springboard for future success.

Once you do these steps, consistently setting and achieving goals becomes an upward cycle. As you gain momentum, you will want to continue achieving new goals. One thing to watch out for is losing focus on the goals that built your springboard, which can cause the whole thing to fall apart. Those goals should become good habits.

Consistently building new habits can lead to personal breakthroughs that wouldn't have otherwise happened.

Here's a personal example: I've been really working on my fitness consistency over the past 6 months. I've also set a goal to improve my tennis strokes. Last night I played tennis with a friend in 90+ degree heat and lost the set we played (it wasn't even that close). Afterwards, we continued to hit for another 20 minutes or so. Instead of being down mentally and exhausted physically from the heat, I still had a bounce in my step from the improved fitness. Also, I concentrated on improving my strokes and wanted to get better. After about 10 minutes, I had a breakthrough in the development of my strokes and my friend immediately noticed I was hitting much better. Now, I'm even more excited about getting out and playing more. If it hadn't been for consistently achieving smaller goals, I probably wouldn't have had this breakthrough.

These same principles can work for you in all areas of your personal and professional life. Consistency is the key!

Meditation of the Day -
"When you get older and you are ready, your ancestors will show up to guide
you."
--Joe Coyhis, STOCKBRIDGE-MUNSEE
Many of us, when we are young, spend a portion of our lives in learning.
Unfortunately, some of us spend this time learning the hard way. When we are
young we sometimes think we know everything. Sometimes we do foolish things.
As we get a little older, we realize we don't know anything. This is when we
become teachable. There is a saying that goes, when the student is ready,
the teacher appears. We usually aren't teachable unless we are ready. The
ancestors are waiting and willing to help. When we are ready, many beautiful
teachers start to come into our lives. Then we really start to grow and
mature. We are ready for the spiritual lesson.

Creator, help me to become ready and teachable.

Taking The Risk Permission To Be Real -Daily Kabbalah Tune Up : Waiting Room

Taking The Risk
Permission To Be Real
Most of us are familiar with the idea of keeping it real and have an intuitive sense about what that means. People who keep it real don't hide behind a mask to keep themselves safe from their fear of how they might be perceived.

They don't present a false self in order to appear more perfect, more powerful, or more independent. People who keep it real present themselves as they truly are, the good parts and the parts most of us would rather hide, sharing their full selves with the people who are lucky enough to know them.

Being real in this way is not an easy thing to do as we live in a culture that often shows us images of physical and material perfection. As a result, we all want to look younger, thinner, wealthier, and more successful. We are rewarded externally when we succeed at this masquerade, but people who are real remind us that, internally, we suffer. Whenever we feel that who we are is not enough and that we need to be bigger, better, or more exciting, we send a message to ourselves that we are not enough. Meanwhile, people who are not trying to be something more than they are walk into a room and bring a feeling of ease, humor, and warmth with them. They acknowledge their wrinkles and laugh at their personal eccentricities without putting themselves down.

People like this inspire us to let go of our own defenses and relax for a moment in the truth of who we really are. In their presence, we feel safe enough to take off our masks and experience the freedom of not hiding behind a barrier. Those of us who were lucky enough to have a parent who was able to keep it real may find it easier to be that way ourselves. The rest of us may have to work a little harder to let go of our pretenses and share the beauty and humor of our real selves. Our reward for taking such a risk is that as we do, we will attract and inspire others, giving them the permission to be real  too.

Daily Kabbalah Tune Up : Waiting Room

If you've been reading these or any communications from The Kabbalah Centre, you're accustomed to our signature phrase, the one secret that will change your life!

Well, I got another one. Patience. Big secret. HUGE.

It's goes like this, some kind of crisis leads us to walk down the spiritual path. At first, because we are so low and humble, we are grateful for any love that comes our way. As we starting walking faster, with more confidence in our stride, we become familiar with the landscape of miracles, and we know there are goodies coming our way so long as we keep walking.

After a while, we get impatient for the goodies, as if we are owed something in a timely manner. We scan Zohar and then we look up expecting the soul mate to jump on the bus. Or we donate money and we expect a raise in the next paycheck. We become impatient with God.

Patience is giving God room to do his [or her] work. It's knowing that we'll get what we deserve when the time is right. That time could be any time.

Today, forget about the result. Just put in the work, and send your wishes and prayers into the universe. The things you are looking for will be found in your patience.

This is something that inspired me and perhaps it shall another

Jul 26, 2008

This is something that inspired me and perhaps it shall another !
{Changing an aspect  of your diet, trying a  different form  of  exercise or  altering  one  piece of your  complex  day could bring  the impact you desire.}
Tomorrow is a new day, today will be in the past and the future is bright!
Ronda...

You can't change the past, so change the future!

"Nobody can go back and start a new beginning, but anyone can start today and make a new ending." -- Maria Robinson

This is my all-time favorite quote. I'm very much a "black and white," "all or nothing" thinker. If I screw up just once, then I've blown it and might as well quit. This reasoning is how I got so fat, and why I haven't been able to lose it until now. If I made one tiny mistake on my "diet" or took a day off from the gym (that usually turned into 2, 3, or 4 days) then it was automatically a failure, and that gave me license to binge and sit motionless for days at a time. No more, I say!

I don't want to spend my life fat and miserable. I don't want to die of an obesity-related disease like heart disease or diabetes. I want to run, and climb mountains, and go skydiving, and be seen by society as intelligent and hard-working (neither of which is ascribed to obese people). Basically, I want a happy ending, not a sad one.

So, regardless of how I got fat or how long I've been fat, I'm going to change my ending. Every day I'm going to get up and be thankful that I'm here and that I have the opportunity to prove my strength to myself and the world. What an amazing gift to be able do such a thing! Many people go through life wondering whether they're strong or not - I know I am, I've proved it.

This quote can apply to so much other than just weight loss, which is part of why I love it, but it's also so perfect for my weight loss efforts. I can't start over. I wish I could go back to when I was 16 and had a flat stomach, but I can't. I have to start now, today, with what I have, and work my way to that point again. Tomorrow never comes - there's only today. So, putting off your weight loss efforts "until tomorrow" means they will never happen. You have to do it now, today, and make the choice to be healthy and happy.

And if I "fall off the wagon" again? That was yesterday - this is today. And today is all I have, so I need to make the most of it! It won't be easy, but it's already worth it!

Meditation of the Day
"When you begin a great work you can't expect to finish it all at once;
therefore, do you and your brothers press on and let nothing discourage you
until you have entirely finished what you have begun."
--Teedyuschung, DELAWARE
All things have their seasons. All thoughts are real. We must think to cause
action and each action creates results. Big visions require many thoughts.
It takes a series of thoughts to create a series of actions. A series of
actions creates a series of results. These results are what makes vision
become real. If we are here to serve the Creator then we can expect to be
accomplishing big visions. How do we do this: One step at a time.

Let me focus on what needs to be done today. Give me clear thoughts to
accomplish the results that you, my Creator, would have me accomplish.

PRAYER FOR TODAY. Meditation of the Day-Teaching and Learning

PRAYER FOR TODAY. Meditation of the Day-Teaching and Learning

PRAYER FOR TODAY.
My Creator, Help me today to live and walk in balance.
To attract to me the things I need and to challenge things I do not.

Balance is an elaboration that every thing is equal. We strive each day to
live in balance for this is a law that supersedes any manmade law, thereby
creating stability. Like the scales of justice or a pendulum, it is always
trying to find its middle point of balance and stability, but by reaching a
maximum shift in one direction it will inevitably swing back the other way,
passing through the point of balance. Each thought or action must be
balanced by whoever creates it. Allow no one to tell you what your earth
walk must reflect or what your reality is. Do not give your power away so
easily, but give your love unconditionally. Any message communicated in love
and with compassion validates balance and equality.
Low self-esteem is just as non-productive as a puffed up sense of
self-esteem and” know it all” attitudes. They both deny equality. All
addictions are a manifestation of inequality.
But in saying this we also have a right to challenge by asking of another
their intent, identity, and whatever pertinent information we feel we
require when encountering another. This is true not only of physical beings
but especially important to those entities we encounter in other realms.
Those who come to us in the role of information givers don't mind being
challenged, in fact welcome it for they know any information they may give
is given in truth and based on Sacred Laws.
Do you have the courage to challenge yours or another's intent today?

Meditation of the Day
"Our fathers gave us many laws which they had learned from their fathers.
These laws were good."
--Chief Joseph, NEZ PERCE
The Creator gives us many laws to live by. These are different than the laws
of man. The laws of the Creator are designed for us to live in harmony and
balance with ourselves and each other. These laws are about having freedom
and happiness. Our Elders teach us these laws. Laws about how to treat each
other, laws about how to treat and respect our Mother Earth, laws about the
environment.

Oh Great Spirit, teach me the laws of the unseen world. Today I pray You
open my eyes so I can better see the Red Road.

Teaching and Learning

Archangel Zadkiel: Keep an open mind and learn new ideas, then teach
those ideas to others.

Additional Message: You are a spiritual teacher and an avid learner.

that awaken your passions. The more you teach the more your lessons
are reinforced within yourself. Be opened to share new ideas and
learning about that aren't in your immediate sphere of interest.

Your students will teach you in many ways too?Trust in your teaching
and learning abilities as your mind is one with the Divine mind of
God. You are an intelligent and wise being.

Working with this Angel:

Meditation of the Day  -PRAYER FOR TODAY-Healthy Fitness Horoscopes

Meditation of the Day
"My friends, how desperately do we need to be loved and to love."
--Chief Dan George, SKOKOMISH
Oh my great Creator: Help me this day to love myself. I can't give away
anything that I don't have myself. If I am to love others, then I must love
myself. If I am to forgive others, then I am to forgive myself. If I am to
accept others as they are then I need to accept myself as I am. If I am to
not judge others, then I need to lighten up on myself. Let me experience
this power of love...

My Creator, today I will love myself so I can love my neighbor. I will look
at each person today and see Your light within them. If I do this, I will
hold my brothers and sisters without guilt.

PRAYER FOR TODAY.
My Creator, you have taught me to give honour and respect to myself and
acknowledge my right to be. But you also taught me that I am nothing if I do
not give equal acknowledgement to:
THE WOMAN, THE CHILDREN, THE FAMILY, THE COMMUNITY, MOTHER EARTH, and that
all are part of the great gift you have given to us all.
May we all live by the seven principles of Life.
Philosophy TO MYSELF
I will think about what kind of person I want to be when I am an Elder.
I will start developing myself now to be this person.
I will walk with the Great Spirit and the ancestors at my side.
I will develop myself to remain positive. I will develop a good mind.
I will examine myself daily to see what I did well and what I need to
improve
I will examine my strength and weaknesses, and then I will ask the Creator
to guide me.
I will develop a good mind.
I will listen to the Creators voice in the wind as I walk the red path every
day.
I will watch nature and ask to be shown a lesson, which will occur, on my
path.
I will seek out the guiding principles, which guided my ancestors.
I will walk in dignity, honour and humility, conducting myself with dignity
and as a proud member of the human family.
I will seek the guidance of the Elders, and the experienced ones, so that I
may maintain the knowledge of all cultures, ceremonies, and songs, so that I
may pass these on to the future generations.
I choose to do all these things myself, because no one else can do them for
me.
I know I cannot give away what I do not have so I will need to walk the talk

Healthy Fitness Horoscopes

Your Fitness Future is in the Stars!

-- By Leanne Beattie, Health & Fitness WriterSparkPeople Sponsors help keep the site free!

When it comes to sticking with a consistent exercise program, you might not reach your goals if you're following a plan that goes against your true nature and personality. For example, if you're outgoing, then solo workouts might not hold your interest, while a spontaneous personality won't stick to scheduled fitness classes. If you're struggling to make exercise a habit, then reach for the stars! Check out these healthy fitness horoscopes that will give you pointers based on the nature of your astrological sign.

Aries: March 21 – April 20
As an Aries, you are as the one who gets things started. Want to take a kickboxing class but your gym doesn’t off one? Take the initiative and talk to the owner of the club. Or better yet, why not get the training and become an instructor yourself? You love to get things moving and there’s no better way of making sure you get what you want than by doing it yourself. As a fire sign, you want inspiring and imaginative ideas. You tend to get bored easily, so mix up your fitness routine every few weeks to keep it fresh. Trying new activities will keep you interested, so when Pilates gets tiresome, switch to one-on-one at the local basketball court or start swimming. You'll keep your muscles guessing and see serious results!

Taurus: April 21 – May 21
The physical, sensual side of life is very important to the Taurus. You love to feel connected with your body and enjoy the perks in life, including good food and good wine. Be careful not to enjoy them too much, or you might have to spend more time in the gym than you’d like. After a hard workout, reward yourself with a massage or a soak in the hot tub. You love the feel of fine fabrics, so stay away from polyester or other scratchy materials. You might have the reputation for being stubborn, but that's a good thing—you won’t give up until you reach your fitness goals. It might take you a while to find an exercise routine that you like, but when you do, don’t mess with it as long as it works for you. You are an Earth sign, so don’t force yourself to work out at a gym if you’d rather be outside. Go hiking, swimming or skating and connect with the great outdoors as much as possible.

Gemini: May 22 – June 232
As a Gemini, you put a lot of value careful thinking. Unfortunately, this means you have a hard time shutting off your thoughts and relaxing. The next time you’re mind is racing, slow down with a yoga class. If you’re not seeing the fitness results you’d like, satisfy your analytical side by keeping a fitness journal to assess your exercise habits. Log your workouts on a calendar to literally see how much exercise you’re getting. Fewer than three sessions a week means you need to take action. Since you’re interested in so many things, it won’t be hard to find a new sport or activity to shake you out of the doldrums.

Cancer: June 24 – July 23
Home and family are very important to the Cancer sign. Setting up a workout room at home, with a jump rope, treadmill and dumbbells, is a great way to blend fitness and family. And it allows you to exercise whenever you get the urge—no driving required! As a Water sign, getting back to the beach is the dream vacation for you. If you can’t take a tropical holiday, visit your local swimming pool and plunge in. You’re a natural in the water, so try snorkeling, water-skiing or cliff diving if you’re feeling extra adventurous. At the very least, soak in the hot tub as often as possible.

Leo: July 24 – August 22
Leos are natural-born leaders who are at the center of the universe—at least in their own minds! Use your charisma to organize an office volleyball team or sign up for a 5K charity run and collect pledges. You’ll thrive as you train for the big event and your magnetism will draw lots of donors (and fellow trainees) to your cause. You pride yourself on being an individual and may prefer to exercise solo instead of being part of a fitness class. Since you don’t like to feel pressured, keeping a regular fitness schedule may be a bit stressful to you. Ease up on yourself and work towards meeting your own personal goals, instead of feeling like you have to go along with the crowd.

Virgo: August 23 – September 22
Virgos are the analysts of the Zodiac. Because you like to look at the big picture and see what’s involved, you are great at taking a big goal and breaking it down into manageable steps. Instead of concentrating on a losing 30 pounds, focus on losing one or two pounds a week, taking it one week at a time. You’re a pro at deciphering information and deciding whether it's useful or not, so take the time to read through the stack of fitness magazines next to your bed and devise your own workout routine. Since you can't handle chaos, you need to have an organized fitness plan. You're more likely to stick to plans made in advance, so spend Sunday evenings with your calendar and plot out your fitness routine for the week.

Libra: September 23 – October 23
Because Libras need balance, you start to feel edgy and anxious when one part of life is taking over. Instead of trying to juggle too much, scale things back to ensure you have plenty of time for both work and fitness. You have the innate ability to look at a complex situation and simplify it—why not share your knowledge with a newbie at the gym who is struggling to figure out how to use the machines? Even though like to have your own way, try to be more patient the next time you’re waiting for a treadmill. Life is too short to get stressed out at the gym! You know the importance of combining strength training with cardio work, but don’t forget to shake things up a bit sometimes by trying new activities. A judo or boxing class might be just enough to kick-start your fitness to the next level.

Scorpio: October 24 – November 22
As a Scorpio, you tend to feel guilty about not being perfect. It pains you to realize your body is not the ideal that you think it should be. Cut yourself some slack and give up on the pursuit of perfection. Find satisfaction in knowing that you are working hard to achieve your fitness goals and you're getting healthier—even if you never lose those last five pounds. Be true to yourself. If you know that your fitness plan isn’t as good as it should be, do something proactive instead of beating yourself up. Remember that self-love is the first step towards happiness and you deserve the best in life. By learning to accept your shortcomings instead of berating yourself, you may find it easier to reach your goals.

Sagittarius: November 23 – December 21
If you’re a Sagittarius, you get real satisfaction by doing. You want to experience things, and aren’t satisfied to sit on the sidelines and watch someone else have all the fun. You need freedom to move (no tight spandex for you!). An organized exercise class will make you feel fenced in, so try an activity you can do on your own. Power walking is ideal for you, and counting your steps with a pedometer will give you a real sense of accomplishment. You love to broaden your horizons, so consider taking a walking tour across Europe or taking yoga classes in India to help you find more meaning in your life. There’s more to you beneath the surface than you show to others. Open up and drop the mysterious persona. Say “hi” to everyone you meet when you’re out for a walk—you might just find a terrific exercise buddy along the way!

Capricorn: December 22 – January 20
As a Capricorn, you want to stand out as an individual. Stick to your fitness plan by doing what works for you and listening to your body. You leap at the chance to be the first to try something new. Just make sure you get instructions before trying new pieces of equipment or exercises so that you don't hurt yourself. Since you hate to have boundaries, you are naturally drawn to the extreme side of life. Cliff diving and rock climbing would give you a rush! Since you can’t do these every day, you can mimic this excitement with a high-intensity running program. The natural high you get after a good run will satisfy your adventurous side until you can take part in another extreme activity.

Aquarius: January 21 – February 19
If you are an Aquarius, you thrive in social settings. Being alone stifles your creativity and brings you down, so take advantage of your friendly nature and join a fitness class. In your mind, the more the merrier! You have a very open mind when it comes to new ideas. This means you’re often the first one in your circle of friends to try a new fitness activity. You adopt the latest trends and equipment into your program, even when others are reluctant to change. You have a strong social conscience, so why not combine your fitness goals with charity work? Sign up for a 5K or 10K run for charity, or swing a hammer to build a home for a less fortunate family. You can get fit and feel good at the same time.

Pisces: February 20 – March 20
The Pisces sign is naturally drawn to arts like music and dance. This opens up lots of fun fitness possibilities. Why not take salsa lessons with your partner or hip hop dance classes with a group of your friends? Nothing compares to an evening of dancing—it’s fun and burns tons of calories! Even if it takes you a while to pick up the steps, you'll have so much fun that it won't matter. You sometimes feel frustrated with the limitations of the human body—you don’t like to be told you can’t do something! Push your fitness to the limit by learning new, exciting skills like downhill skiing, tennis or golf. You believe that there’s more to the world than what you see with your naked eyes. Your heart is genuinely filled with love and appreciation. Tune in to your mystical side by taking yoga and meditation classes, which will help you to focus on and express your deep gratitude.

Im a scorpio and it sooooo is me!!!

Meditation of the Day -Daily Kabbalah -GRACE LIGHT

Meditation of the Day -Daily Kabbalah -GRACE LIGHT

Meditation of the Day -
"Each man is good in the sight of the Great Spirit."
--Sitting Bull, TETON SIOUX
Our bodies are both physical and spiritual. At our very center we are
spiritual. Our bodies are built around the spiritual. The center is the
unseen world. Therefore, we cannot see it with our eyes and we tend to judge
the body because we can see it. The body is not who we are. We can see the
spiritual if we are spiritual ourselves. We won't see this always with our
physical eyes. Usually we will see it with our spiritual eye. We will hear
ourselves say "I know this to be true."

At the center of all human beings is the place of good. That includes myself
At my very core is good. I can find this place by staying free of
resentments, fear, dishonesty and self-seeking motives. My Creator, keep me
free this day of resentment, selfishness, dishonesty and fear.

Daily Kabbalah Tune Up : Google It

We each come to this world with a soul mission. However, most of us leave
this world without ever having accomplished that mission.

We return back "upstairs" and realize we had our sights set on all the wrong
things. If we are lucky, we get a chance to start over and come back again.

Why not get it right this time around? You don't want to go through the
terrible two's again, do you? And puberty? I don't think so.

Why are you alive? What did your soul come here to do? These are worthy
questions to ask of yourself today. Too bad we can't just Google what our life
mission is. Maybe some day. But for now, the best way to find the answer is to
ask the question. Ask enough times - and with intensity - and you will start
seeing signs pointing you in the right direction.

GRACE LIGHT JULY 17TH
According to Siva Baba, this Grace Light will affect the evolution of
the entire human race and the planet. It will lead to an overcoming
of suffering, diseases, materialism, and poverty. It will be the
beginning of an unlimited life of bliss without any suffering. It will
spread all over the world -- unconditional compassion, the welcoming
of the Golden Age. All the religions have expected this to happen. It
will happen.

Be in a state of joy. The light will go in. You will be able to feel
the light. Something profound will happen to you. After the 17th, day
after day you will find changes occurring -- changes in brain
functions, body function, how you relate to others and to the world.
You will experience happiness you never experienced before.

You can watch here the latest you tube video from Dattatreya Siva
Baba on how to welcome the Grace Light on July 17th.

What is Grace Light?

"Grace light is the internal light/intelligence of the soul. It has
always been on the earth plane, but has been muted and dampened by
the darkness of the Kali Yuga. The dawning of Grace Light means the
awakening, brightening, igniting of the light of consciousness in a
way we have never known (for thousands of years).... All religions
and traditions are hearkening this new age of Grace Light in their
unique language. Grace Light is being felt in the collective
consciousness and there will be myriad expressions of it."

After receiving this Grace Light email, I looked up the Sabian Symbol
for the full moon on July 18th. The message is: A mountain
pilgrimage. Theme: The High Road. This symbol gives the inspiration
of seeing a higher reality; of being dedicated and not giving up
until the goal is achieved.
