See you in a year Dr. Pop

ok.....so I just had my one year follow up with my surgeon on Monday and I left kind of feeling deflated!
When I went for my 3 month follow up Dr. Pop seemed so happy with how I was doing, had lost something like 50lbs or something like that....and he was just happy happy happy......well Monday he didn't seem happy........as per the "I could give a shit" nurse that took my vitals, and I always get stuck with her it seems.......I was at 62% of my EWL..............the "Nut" says the typical for one year is 60 - 65% EWL.......so I'm right on target.........but he didn't seem to psyched about it...... I have to say I was deflated when I left......I didn't like that feeling.
Mind you, the 62% is for the goal weight he would like to see me at.......and this is the math, I think..........
309 consult weight........
140-145 goal weight.......as per Dr. Pop...........
204 one year follow up weight............so.......
309-140 = 169 of EWL
105/169*100= 62%

HOWEVER...........
I take my numbers as this.........
315 out of surgery weight........this is actually my highest weight ever, so thats's why I use it.....
175 is my goal weight I would like to......change that, will achieve........
so.....
today's weight
201.........
315-175=140 of EWL
114/140*100=81%
see how that makes me feel better........81% of my EWL........but even being at 175 I would be considered over weight.......
I still think I'm at 81% of where I want to be.......not so bad in one year!
But still, I can't help but feel I let my Dr down and myself a little that I didn't push harder....that I didn't hold out for things like trying a piece of chocolate, or a hand full of chips.......I haven't turned back to diet pepsi so that's a good thing.....maybe I'm just having one of those days.....or maybe I'm not...maybe I should have gone to coffee this week to vent my frustrations and feel better........Starbucks I think will be in my future.....somewhere about Sunday this week........
I still look back and wouldn't change what I've done for a million dollars.....yet I still wish I had that little congrats and not the "well you got smaller" comment from Dr Pop that I thought I would have gotten!
