"My first impression was that he sounded preachy, but that became more in the fact that he wants this to be your last stop on the weight loss journey. As in, he wants you to know why you are over weight so you don't get there again. Surgery is only a tool, you are what has to work it!
I thought the Barix facility was well kept and clean. The staff seemed very nice and more then happy to help.
Dr Pop is not just about getting you the surgery, he is about changing your life. He wants you to know why you eat. Not just the physical situation about being obese but the mental situation about being obese.
I found Dr Pop to be very knowledgeable and confident, and am looking forward to seeing him for my surgery!"
"The only thing I was so-so on was the wait for pain meds or meds to help me sleep. I do realize that the nurse did have to check with a Dr. before dispensing anything for me, but it seemed that I had to ask a couple times. Looking back with this being my only real complaint, I am 100% happy with my experience!"
