This is Stacy again, Rory's sister. Just wanted to update. Rory's heart is racing a bit, therefore they are waiting for a heart monitor before putting her in a room, but she will be going in one today. She is walking a good bit today and a lot more talkative. She isn't have to use as much medicine today, which means her pain is getting better. Which could be the reason she is more talkative. :) Please keep praying for a speedy recovery. Thanks, Stacy

It sounds like you are having a tuff time right now, you are strong and will get though this just fine, the worst part is over now you can start to heal, and get healthier and skinnier. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy, and uncomplicated recovery. God Bless

I'm Stacy, Rory's sister. Rory went into surgery at approx. 1:30pm on 2/11. At approx. 3:45pm the nurse said they were finishing up and everything went great. The next morning she went in for her leak test and failed it. The Doctor said she had a slight leak and it should heal up on it's own, which could take anywhere from a couple of days to approx. three months. He said that she is young and healthy, therefore it should just heal right on up. They kept her in ICU again Wednesday night to monitor her vital signs. She was running a high temperature. Therefore, for precautionary reasons, they wanted to put her back into surgery to put a cathedure(sp) in to drain fluid. She went back into surgery at approx. 11:00pm on 2/12. The Doctor said everything went great and he did not see any pus. This morning (2/13), she was running a bit of a high temperature again, but the Doctor has now changed her medicine. So hopefully this will help that. They will keep her in ICU again tonight. She will have another leak test Monday morning. Although she seems to be doing well and she is in really Good Spirits, all prayers are really appreciated. Thanks, Stacy
