Still in complaint mode, but not totally unhappy :)

Sep 17, 2010

I'm still not eating well, or properly. I am not happy with any protein drinks, and recently began dumping on milk and Java Jo's coffee. What a disappointment that is. I've drunk milk my whole life! I lived on milk the first couple of weeks after my surgery. The other day I thought, well, let me go back to milk, since nothing else is working well. Didn't do well.

I look better, have been dressing better, have been moisturizing my legs and arms daily, wearing eye liner and look pretty good. I need to learn some up-dos so my longer hair looks more professional. I also need a haircut.

But my knees are still hurting lots. I am 67# from my highest weight, and about 57 pounds post-surgery. I know this isn't too bad. Let's see... I'm 14 weeks post-op. 57/14= 4#/week. That's a good average. I'm just frustrated that I can't eat. To be perfectly honest here, if I COULD eat better, I would I love fruit. I love salads. I don't even need dressing. Nothing or a very modest amt of oil and vinegar is very satisfying. I have liked most meats okay in the past. Okay, I'm going to force myself to eat. I read on here that folks forced themselves to be learn to gulp water again, and so I did, too. Now I'm going to force myself to eat meats and other high-protein items, and write everything down and see how it goes.
