New beginings

Feb 20, 2013

So I had VGS in June of 2009. My life has changed in so many ways and I pray that I realize how lucky I am to be where I am at in life. I went through a divorce 4 years after my last surgery and have a really good relationship with my ex. I have a wonderful man in my life who has been supportive of me for the past 3 years with everything from my kids all the way to pushing me to graduate while I was 8 months pregnant and wanting to not walk the stage.

He added me onto his insurance in December and he works for General Motors, and their insurance policy with BCBS is excellent. I had my approval letter by 2 weeks after submission. My deductible is only 1k which gives me a lot more to put towards covering the time I take off.

I feel that I am being given a second chance, or third really. I saw the mistakes I made with the VGS and know what I need to do to keep from going down that path again! I started working out a couple of months ago and have gone from 290 to 264. I want to lose 15lbs more before my surgery date of March 11th. I can do this!!!! It is my fiance's 30th birthday as well as my surgery date so I know that this day will be one to remember! Please keep me and my family in your thoughts!
