Hi Roxanne! Big congratulations on your surgery date! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand of different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! Remember that we’re all family here and we’re here to give you our support, lend an ear and to not judge. I just wanted you to know that I was thinking about you today and that you are in my thoughts and prayers for a successful, problem-free surgery and recovery. I’m so happy for you. I hope you keep trying with cigna, I had cigna and they do drag their feet, but in the end it will all work out. I know I had to have all past diet info, pysch eval (which cigna pays for under behavioral health, check out their website www.cigna.com) nutrition eval, doctor recommendations, it took a little while with a lot of frustration but it works out.. Keep going. kari

Roxanne, Im sorry to here about your denial. I also have sucky CIGNA and have been denied 2x, Im starting my 4th month of this friggin 6mo. diet crap. It does go by pretty quick, of course not as quick as we want it to, but it does. Try to stay possitive, and keep your chin up. It took me about a week after my 2nd denial to get myself focused again, and it makes it alot better to deal with. Anyway, I hope you wont give up your fight, dont let those shmucks win. Do their stupid diet and then make 'em pay!! I wish you all the best. Warmest wishes.****Amanda

Roxanne - So sorry to hear of your denial - I know just how you feel....except my fight was with UHC, not Cigna. Fight Roxanne, FIGHT!! Do not let individuals who do not know you determine your life!!!

Roxanne, Sorry to hear of all of your struggles with CIGNA. I know exactly what you are going through- They are a big pain in the ass! I struggled with them and finally got approved on the original date of my surgery that had to be canceled. It took almost 4 months of going back and forth with them. Be persistant it can happen!
