Monday is your day! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench! ~ JudyAnne

Hi Roxanne, I know what your going threw. I was waiting for my surgery for 3 years, and I got it this year 8/5/04. I live here in Tx also, and I have family in San Antonio. I live in Fort Hood, I would love to talk to you, and may be I can help in some kind of way. The Doctor who did my surgery might take payments. I don't know, but it sure does not hurt to try. e-mail me, and send me your phone number, and let's see what we can come up with. Beleave me when I tell you the surgery is worth it. I have lost almost 100lbs in 4 months. I will be praying for you and in the mean time I will call my doctor who did my surgery and I will ask him or the staff how does it work if some one wants to make payments. I'm telling it does not hurt to ask. May be we can get together one day when im in San Antonio, and we can sit and talk about the surgery and if you have any questions, I will try my best to answer all of them. My friend and I have started a support group for all the women and men who have had WLS, it would be nice to have you come and let us support you before the surgery and after. I will be praying for you and hoping you will e-mail me. In me you have a knew friend. Anna
