I am a 27 year old woman never married i have a BMI of 80.2. I can't bring myself to actually say how much I really weigh. I am so thankful for this surgery.
I truly believe that this surgery will save my life. I have been trying to get it approved for almost 5 years and I can't believe it is finally happening! I dont know how much my life will change socially because I have always been very quiet, but health-wise I know that things will improve.
I have sleep apena, high blood pressure, and edema. My mom and I are having surgeries done by Dr. Daniel Fang in Phoenix AZ, and yes, that is a long distance. But there is only one doctor in MO that will accept my insurance. So we opted to go to AZ. The Bridges Centre at St Lukes is ranked #4 in the country for Bariatric Programs. Like I said earlier we have been trying to have this surgery for at least 5 years and we have been through at least 3 different programs. None have been as informative as the Bridges Centre
